SOS-Ketchup - Schnelle Variante

Zutaten für ca. 100 Gramm

1 Paprika
300 g kleine (bunte) Tomaten
1 kleine rote Zwiebel
1 Knoblauchzehe
3 EL Honig (Bio)
2 EL Bio-Apfelessig, naturtrüb
1 TL Kokosnussöl

Zum Würzen: Himalaya-Salz, schwarzer Pfeffer aus der Mühle, Piment, frische Kräuter der Provence, Currypulver, Muskatnuss, Cayennepfeffer (für leichte Schärfe)

Anmerkungen

Die Tomaten können vorher auch gehäutet werden, was mir persönlich bei den kleinen Tomaten zu viel Arbeit ist. Und da man später keine Kerne im Ketchup haben möchte, kommt man ums Passieren nicht drum herum.

Wer mag, kann ein Lorbeerblatt mitköcheln lassen.

Zubereitung

Tomaten, Zwiebeln und Knoblauch klein schneiden und mit Kokosnussöl erhitzen.

Apfelessig und Honig dazugeben und 30 Minuten köcheln lassen.

Gewürze nach Geschmack dazugeben und nochmals 10 Minuten weiter köcheln.

Abkühlen lassen und anschließend mit einem Stabmixer pürieren.

Zum Schluss die Masse durch ein Sieb passieren und in ein sauberes verschließbares Glas füllen.

Sollte der Ketchup nicht gleich verzehrt werden, bitte unbedingt im Kühlschrank aufbewahren!
